Analyst - London

Requirement

Due to a significant growth in demand for our expertise, 4C is looking to recruit an individual with excellent analytical skills and with the potential to progress to a leadership role. The successful applicant will join an existing consulting team working on clients sites throughout the UK and occasionally internationally. This individual must be able to demonstrate an excellence in researching, analysing and solving complex analytical problems, reaching sound conclusions and articulating recommendations in a persuasive and engaging manner.

The Role

The role will be primarily based at our client’s sites in the UK and may require international travel.

The Analyst plays a crucial role in the team, performing proactive identification of opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement across projects. These may be in terms of direct or indirect cost savings, from improved supplier service delivery through to developing and implementing innovative processes and approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Areas of responsibility will include taking on both project and non-project related tasks such as:

  • Performing spend analysis and savings modelling
  • Researching, structuring and solving complex analytical problems, often using the advanced capabilities of common software tools (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Preparing and possibly managing Requests for Information / Requests for Proposals
  • Preparing presentation material (e.g. slides, reports) for stakeholder communication and meetings
  • Conducting market research, contract compliance and ad-hoc problem solving where appropriate
  • Liaising with client and supplier stakeholders to obtain and understand all required data sets and relevant information, supplementing with required communication as needed
  • Supporting other 4C teams in sharing best practice and technical / market know-how

Experience / Qualifications: Ideal candidates would have experience in one of the following areas:
  • Previous consulting experience in a top-tier consulting firm or
  • Experience in a blue chip organisation encompassing procurement, performance improvement and/or cost reduction experience with significant evidence of achieving change and delivering results

Candidates must have a minimum of a 2.1 degree from a top UK or international University. Preference will be given to candidates with additional professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, MCIPS)
