Requirement

This individual must be able to demonstrate an excellence in researching and solving complex analytical problems and an ability to articulate results in a concise manner.

The Role
The role will be primarily based in 4C's Headquarters in Hammersmith, and will be working within the Procurement Services resource pool responsible for supporting the procurement projects we manage on behalf of our various clients. The job may require travel.
The Analyst plays a crucial role in the team, performing proactive identification of opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement across projects. These may be in terms of direct or indirect cost savings, through improved supplier service delivery, to developing and implementing innovative processes and approaches as part of new best-practice procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility will include taking on both project and non-project related tasks such as:
- Performing spend analysis and savings modelling
- Researching, structuring and solving complex analytical problems, often using the advanced capabilities of common software tools (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Preparing and possibly managing Requests for Information / Requests for Proposals
- Preparing presentation material (e.g. slides, reports) for stakeholder communication and meetings
- Conducting market research, contract compliance and ad-hoc problem solving where appropriate
- Liaising with client and supplier stakeholders to obtain and understand all required data sets and relevant information, supplementing with required communication as needed
- Supporting other 4C teams in sharing best practise and technical / market know-how

- Ability to understand and implement client sourcing / procurement policies and procedures

- Capacity to handle dispute resolution
- Strategic sourcing experience in a top-tier consulting firm or
- Blue chip procurement experience
We require a degree from a top UK or international University. Desirable candidates may hold (or be working towards) a CIPS qualification.
