Due to a significant growth in demand for our expertise, we are looking for a number of consultants to work with us at 'Manager' level.

The Role

The Manager takes overall responsibility for the delivery of multiple projects, often simultaneously, and where applicable expanding the remit of those projects to the mutual benefit of 4C and our clients.

The role may involve the proactive identification of opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvements across projects, along with new business development activities. These may be in terms of direct or indirect cost savings, through improved supplier service delivery, to developing and implementing improved processes and approaches as part of new best-practice procurement solutions.

You will often manage significant teams of consultant and / or client staff in the delivery of this work, and will generally be the primary point of contact with the client for your project.

The Individual

Successful candidates will have consistently demonstrated excellence in their careers to date. They will possess outstanding team-working and client-facing skills, in particular the ability to articulate results and ideas in a concise manner to both internal colleagues and external clients. They will also possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to assimilate large amounts of data, and have the capacity to manage and deliver outstanding consulting work while being focussed on more than one project at a time.

We require a strong academic background, including a good degree from a top UK or international University, and 3 - 6 years' experience in a top-tier consulting or leading blue-chip firm. The ideal candidate will have significant strategic sourcing experience and a demonstrated ability to think and act strategically.

The job may require a certain amount of travel.
