4C acquires logistics operations firm Key3 Partners New

London, UK, 16 January, 2012 – Key3, the consulting firm specialising in logistics operations and logistics systems improvement, has been acquired by 4C Associates, the consulting and outsource firm specialising in cost and procurement transformation. Key3 have delivered many millions of pounds of savings to blue chip organisations and bring first class expertise in delivering change in logistics operations, through a rare blend of operational experience, analytical ability, and change and people management. Ed Ainsworth, Managing Director of 4C Associates, said: “Key3 have unmatched expertise in logistics, and in exploiting synergies between procurement and supply chain. He held management positions at Wincanton, United Transport, Penske and GE where he was part of the management team that set up one of Europe’s first 4PL platforms utilising I2 technology. In the last 10 years Craig founded and ran Key3 Partners. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, has a black belt in Six Sigma business process improvement, and is a leader in change management. Craig said he looks forward to new challenges at 4C: “Bringing together supply chain and procurement expertise at 4C has already improved savings for clients.
