NL & BE Jumbo Supermarkets: 4C Supports Jumbo
Jumbo Supermarkets is the second-largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands and Belgium. With almost 740 stores and a market share of about 22% in the Netherlands, along with a webshop, Jumbo is a leading food retailer and is growing rapidly in Belgium.
The Problem
As an omni-channel retailer, Jumbo are embracing the opportunities created by new technologies, ensuring the security and agility of their supply chain whilst remaining competitive and customer-centric.
The Solution
4C project management and management consultants have supported projects to make shopping easier for customers in the store by implementing self-check out and self-scanning and loyalty solutions. We have also enabled Jumbo to become more agile by implementing an electronic shelf label solution.
In order for Jumbo to be a truly omnichannel retailer we have supported the development of the Jumbo consumer app, inspiring consumers with new recipes and making shopping online easier and delivering more personalised offers to consumers.
For Jumbo to become more efficient and agile in their end to end supply chain processes, we are currently supporting the S/4HANA transformation program and implementation of a new HR system and last but not least 4C consultants have supported the Ariba implementation.
