BACKGROUND
the challenge
The company needed to improve site profitability, standardise operations, and build a more resilient, data-driven supply chain. Key challenges included missing master data, outdated systems, lack of supplier contracts, and no clear category strategies. In addition, the client wanted support to identify new revenue streams and reduce its dependency on the aviation sector.
SOLUTION
4C designed and implemented an integrated improvement programme across multiple workstreams—commercialstrategy, RACI, Product flow optimisation, better buying, and systems & forecasting—to drive operational efficiencies across the sites, supported by robust and accurate data.
- Conducted a spend analysis to identify key categories and create tailored category strategies
- Tendered all key category areas, to deliver a supply chain which is fit for purpose and formal contracts outlining terms, conditions, and expectations
